Liana Watson, D.M., R.T.(R)(M)(S)(BS)(ARRT), RDMS, RVT, FASRT, PMP, CAE

Dr. Liana Watson, has been named the Chief Executive Officer for the highly respected American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). ARRT is the world’s largest organization offering credentials in medical imaging, interventional procedures, and radiation therapy. They certify and register technologists in a range of disciplines by overseeing and administering education, ethics, and examination requirements. She succeeds Jerry Reid, PhD, who announced his intended retirement to the ARRT Board in 2020, after serving the organization for 44 years.

Dr. Wagner most currently served as American Board of Imaging Informatics (ABII) Coordinator and ARRT Senior Program Manager, Government Affairs. ABII is a joint effort of ARRT and the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM).

Kelly Ricker, CMP

Kelly Ricker, has been named the Chief Learning Officer for the highly respected American Academy of Neurology (AAN).  The AAN supports and represents more than 36,000 neurologists and neuroscience professionals worldwide who provide crucial patient care, seek new cures and treatments for brain disease, and work to ensure patient access to the right care. Education and science are the cornerstones of AAN’s mission to provide leadership in neurology and excellence in patient care.

Ricker, as a member of the Executive Team, leads strategic initiatives to advance the visions for neurology continuing education and growth of scientific research and leadership development. She will oversees strategic programs, products and services, Annual Meeting, conferences, e-learning, scientific research, and leadership development.

Lisa Wagner, CAE

Lisa Wagner, CAE, has been named Chief Financial Officer for the Governors Highway Safety Association (GHSA) headquartered in Washington, DC. GHSA represents the state and territorial highway safety officers that implement federal grant programs to address behavioral highway safety issues. GHSA’s mission is to provide leadership and advocacy for the states and territories to improve traffic safety, to influence public policy, enhance program management and promote best practices.  

Ms. Wagner will oversee the day-to-day business and financial operations, IT, HR, budget development, grant administration, forecasting, investment strategy and execution of special projects. Ms. Wagner brings nearly two decades of executive financial experience in the association sector. Previously, Ms. Wager served the Solar Energy Trade Shows as CFO and worked in finance and administration for the American Wind Energy Association.  This is a newly created role, following the retirement of long-time Financial Director, Denise Alston.

Artesha C. Moore, CAE, FASAE

Artesha C. Moore, CAE, FASAE, has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer for the Chicago-based Association Forum. In this role, Ms. Moore will advance Association Forum and the professional practice of association management. She succeeds Michelle Mason, FASAE, CAE, who has taken on the role of President and CEO for ASAE.
